Ripple Pushes CLARITY Act Through Congressional Vote

Ripple executives have urged US lawmakers to pass the CLARITY Act, which they believe would provide clearer rules for the cryptocurrency industry.

Chief Executive Brad Garlinghouse said the legislation would bring regulatory certainty and encourage innovation and investment in digital assets.

The company thinks the bill would clarify which digital assets fall under the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's jurisdiction.
