Ripple Secures MiCA CASP Authorization Across 30 EEA Countries
Ripple has secured full MiCA CASP authorization from Luxembourg's CSSF, allowing it to offer regulated crypto payments across 30 EEA countries. The approval completes Ripple's compliance under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework and follows a preliminary approval issued in June 2023.
The license confirmed by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) positions Ripple to serve the growing number of European institutions seeking regulated digital asset partners. With this authorization, Ripple's end-to-end regulated crypto payments product is now available to financial institutions, corporates, and businesses across all 30 countries in the EEA.
