Ripple Seeks Fortune in Corporate Treasury Market
Ripple is positioning itself to capture a significant share of the $13 trillion corporate treasury market by expanding its RLUSD stablecoin. According to Jack McDonald, Ripple's senior vice president overseeing stablecoin operations, the company has identified this segment as a critical growth channel for RLUSD.
The total supply of RLUSD has reached $2.4 billion, representing over 50% growth in just 30 days. Daily transaction volumes have surged threefold since January, reaching approximately $750 million per day.
Ripple is developing a dual-issuance framework for European markets that complies with the MiCA regulation, and has secured regulatory approval in Luxembourg. The company plans to expand RLUSD's blockchain presence through integration with networks such as Base, Ink, Optimism, and Unichain.
