Ripple Slashes $35.7 Million in RLUSD as Institutional Clients Fuel 99% Monthly Burn Rate

Ripple executed its largest treasury burn this month, removing $35.7 million in RLUSD tokens from circulation on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).

This is a significant move for Ripple's stablecoin, which has seen intense redemptions over the past 30 days.

In fact, institutional clients initiated a series of redemptions worth $448.9 million in RLUSD tokens, resulting in a monthly burn rate of 99% and pushing net RLUSD supply growth on XRPL close to zero.
