Ripple Swell 2026 Adds Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan to Lineup
Ripple's annual conference, Swell 2026, is set to take place from October 27-29 at The Shed in Manhattan's Hudson Yards district. This year's event combines the traditional institutional payments and regulation focus of Swell with the developer-focused XRPL Apex conference for the first time.
Among the notable speakers added to the lineup is Raghuram Rajan, a former governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 2013-2016. He currently serves as co-leader of the Federal Reserve's Balance Sheet Policy task force and holds the position of Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Rajan will participate in an invitation-only institutional summit on October 27, which marks the opening day of Swell week. The event is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees and feature over 75 speakers across three stages, covering topics such as stablecoins, tokenization, payments, exchange-traded funds, decentralized finance, and XRP Ledger development.
