Ripple Unveils Five XRP Ledger Amendments Ahead of Upcoming Release

Ripple's executive Jazzi Cooper has outlined five proposed amendments to the XRP Ledger that are expected in the upcoming xrpld 3.3.0 release.

The changes aim to improve privacy, payments, token management, and settlement on the network.

The first amendment is called Confidential MPT, which gives Multi-Purpose Tokens a privacy feature using zero-knowledge proofs together with elliptic-curve encryption.

This allows balances and transfer amounts to stay private while transactions are recorded on a public blockchain.
