The plan involves assessing vulnerabilities, testing new cryptography, running both old and new systems in parallel, and keeping an emergency response ready. Ripple has already begun evaluating NIST-standard post-quantum algorithms with Project Eleven, a firm focused on quantum security research.
Audit findings reveal that only 0.03% of XRP's total supply is exposed to potential threats due to dormant accounts with public keys visible on the blockchain. In contrast, Bitcoin's older P2PK addresses pose a larger risk.
