Ripple Unveils Ripple Mint for Institutional Access to RLUSD Stablecoin
Ripple, a blockchain-focused fintech company, has introduced Ripple Mint, a platform that allows institutions to easily access and manage its US dollar-pegged stablecoin, RLUSD. The platform is designed for both manual operations and automated integrations, making it easier for institutions to use digital dollars in their payments, trading, and treasury activities.
Ripple Mint was launched on Thursday, with the company describing it as a unified platform that lets institutions manage RLUSD through a web interface or direct API integrations. The platform is designed to give institutions flexible access to digital dollars, according to Ripple.
RLUSD has been gaining traction among institutional users since its launch in December 2024, and has grown into one of the larger US dollar-based stablecoins by market capitalization. The token reached its all-time high market capitalization on June 1, 2026, when it surpassed $1.8 billion.
