Ripple's Bridge Between TradFi and DeFi Gains Momentum
Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, is emphasizing the company's strategy of connecting traditional finance (TradFi) with blockchain technology. Speaking at the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, he highlighted Ripple's 75 licenses worldwide as evidence that regulated financial services and crypto can coexist.
Garlinghouse also cited a U.S. court ruling that XRP itself is not a security, reinforcing Ripple's push for clearer regulatory distinctions between digital assets and transactions involving them. The company has positioned itself as the bridge between TradFi and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Ripple's institutional expansion is gaining momentum, with revenue projected to more than double year over year despite softer conditions across the broader crypto market.
