Ripple's Developer Ecosystem Gets a Boost with XRP Ledger Upgrade
Ripple's developer ecosystem has received an upgrade with the release of new versions for two key development libraries, xrpl.js and xrpl-py. According to Julian Berridi, a product manager at Ripple, these updates bring support for XRP Ledger version 3.3.0, which was launched in early August.
The latest version of the protocol introduced six new amendments, including atomic batch transactions and Multi-Purpose Token transfers with enhanced privacy. Additionally, five long-standing amendments were removed and permanently incorporated into the protocol.
The update also paves the way for the fixCleanup3_3_0 amendment to be activated, which groups fixes for various components of the XRP Ledger. This amendment has already reached 77.14% of favorable votes according to XRPScan data, bringing it close to the threshold required for final approval.
