Ripple's Expansion Beyond Payments: A New Framework for XRP
Crypto researcher Dominique Esposito has proposed an alternative way to evaluate XRP's long-term investment potential, shifting focus beyond its ability to replace SWIFT.
According to Esposito, Ripple has expanded its institutional infrastructure beyond payments and is now building across various sectors, including tokenization, settlement, and collateral mobility on the XRPL.
Ripple's independently attested transparency information recently showed approximately $1.87 billion in circulation and around $1.98 billion in reserve funds for RLUSD, a stablecoin operated under the New York Department of Financial Services.
Esposito also highlighted XLS-66 as one of the most important developments to monitor, introducing a structure involving Single Asset Vaults, Loan Brokers, and borrowers using fixed-term loans with interest and first-loss protection.
