Ripple's Finastra Deal Gains Attention for Global Banking Reach
Ripple's partnership with Finastra is gaining attention for its potential to expand Ripple's reach into global banking. According to crypto researcher SMQKE, the deal could give Ripple a pathway into a broader banking ecosystem through infrastructure financial institutions already use.
The deal becomes more notable following Nacha's announcement that Finastra is now a Preferred Partner for ACH experience, ISO 20022, and risk and fraud prevention. Finastra provides modern ACH solutions to help financial institutions manage rising payment volumes and support Same Day ACH.
Ripple's technology could be distributed through platforms already embedded in bank operations, potentially reducing the need for separate relationships with every institution. This could provide a route into a larger network of institutions connected to the international payments ecosystem, given Finastra's global reach.
