Ripple's Growing Credibility May Spark Sharp Repricing of XRP
Market analyst Mickle believes that XRP may sharply reprice due to Ripple's increased visibility among US policymakers and reduced regulatory uncertainty. This improved credibility has been signaled by Ripple's CEO's proximity to key officials, particularly in relation to the Clarity Act.
Ripple's institutional progress, larger circulating supply, and favorable SEC litigation outcomes have all contributed to XRP's improved fundamentals since 2017, according to Mickle. Near-term catalysts for XRP include the Clarity Act vote, easing interest rate concerns, and reduced market impact from the Iran conflict.
Grayscale's Crypto 5 ETF has also had its XRP holdings reduced by 27% in fiscal 2026, as revealed in a recent SEC filing. The fair value of XRP in the fund fell sharply by 67%, from $39.14 million to $12.83 million.
