Ripple's Growth Fails to Spark Interest in the Company Itself
Ripple, the company behind XRP, has made significant strides in recent years. It's expanded into various areas such as stablecoins, custody, tokenization, and institutional finance. Despite these developments, the majority of comments on social media are focused on XRP's price performance rather than Ripple itself.
The company's growth is undeniable, with its own stablecoin, RLUSD, becoming a $1.6 billion asset. Ripple has also acquired several businesses and launched services for tokenized assets. However, none of these announcements have directly translated into immediate price moves for XRP.
Retail investors seem to be more interested in XRP's price movements than the company's developments. They don't always care about banking partnerships or RLUSD's expansion if it doesn't benefit XRP somehow.
