Ripple's infrastructure expansion has accelerated in recent months, but this growth hasn't yet translated to XRP's market performance. The token currently trades at $1.10, a level that is 69% below its 52-week peak of $3.55 and more than a fifth under its 200-day moving average of $1.39.

The company has secured licenses across three continents, integrated with Mastercard's AI payment framework, and launched a dedicated stablecoin platform for institutions. The XRP Ledger has also implemented Mastercard's 'Verifiable Intent' standard for AI-driven payments, allowing autonomous software agents to execute transactions on the network while adhering to Mastercard's security framework.

The CLARITY Act, which would provide clearer regulatory classification for digital assets in the United States, is currently stalled. The Senate must vote before August 7, but only 51 votes are considered secure or likely, and law enforcement agencies have objected to a section of the draft that they believe could facilitate drug trafficking.
