Ripple's Korean Momentum Stalls as XRP Price Remains Stagnant
XRP, the token associated with Ripple, has seen some positive developments in Korea. XRPL Korea, the organizer of XRP Seoul 2026, announced its second speaker lineup, which includes notable figures from Doppler Finance, Flare, t54 Labs, Variational, Evernorth, and Squid.
The addition of Ashish Birla, CEO of Evernorth and an early Ripple team member, is particularly significant. His company is pursuing a Nasdaq listing via SPAC merger with the goal of building a $1 billion XRP reserve.
Meanwhile, Flare co-founder Hugo Philion will speak on smart-contract functionality for XRP and Bitcoin in DeFi, which aligns with Ripple's narrative around the XRP Ledger.
Despite this positive news, XRP has not seen significant buying pressure. Its price remains stuck in a tight band between $1.39 and $1.43, with volume sitting elevated but indecisive.
