Ripple's Public Debut Halted by IMF Ties, Analyst Claims
Ripple's potential for an initial public offering (IPO) has been called into question by Jesse, a crypto analyst from Apex Crypto Insights. According to him, Ripple's CEO Brad Garlinghouse's comments that the company has been 'happily private' for years are deliberately noncommittal and may not be a genuine signal of intent.
Jesse pointed out that Ripple's relationship with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) could also play a role in its decision to go public. He referenced former Ripple executive Miguel Vias' comments on Ripple's XRP escrow function, which he described as similar to a 'lender of last resort', a role typically associated with an institution like the IMF.
This theory is speculative and not confirmed by any official statement from Ripple. The company has not issued any confirmation or timeline for an IPO, leaving investors in limbo.
