Ripple's RLUSD Surpasses $2 Billion Market Cap Less Than Two Years After Launch

Ripple's USD-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, has reached a market capitalization of approximately $2.02 billion, nearly two years after its launch in December 2024. The XRP Ledger holds about $962.8 million in circulating RLUSD, while Ethereum accounts for roughly $1.05 billion.

The monthly transfer volume on the stablecoin has reached $11.81 billion across 1.39 million transactions. Ripple's RLUSD is designed to maintain a value of $1 through reserves containing cash and permitted cash equivalents, with Deloitte conducting monthly reserve attestations.
