Ripple's Swell 2026 Unites Finance and Crypto Communities in New York
Ripple's annual conference, Swell 2026, is gearing up to be its largest event yet. The three-day gathering in New York from October 27-29 will bring together over 1,500 attendees and feature more than 75 speakers across three stages.
The expanded program combines the institution-focused Swell event with XRPL Apex, a developer-focused conference centered on the $XRP Ledger. This convergence is expected to connect institutional decision-makers with teams building blockchain applications, expanding the audience beyond conventional banking and payments discussions.
This year's agenda will cover topics such as payments, capital markets, exchange-traded funds, stablecoins, tokenization, treasury management, cybersecurity, compliance, and $XRP utility. The conference will also delve into emerging areas like agentic finance, which involves artificial intelligence systems that can execute financial tasks under defined controls.
Ripple has confirmed a notable lineup of speakers, including Robinhood Senior Vice President and General Manager of Crypto Johann Kerbrat, BNY Global Head of Markets Laide Majiyagbe, and Intercontinental Exchange Vice President of Strategic Initiatives Michael Blaugrund. The event will also feature Water.org co-founder Matt Damon, Bullish Chairman and CEO Tom Farley, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Ripple President Monica Long.
