Ripple's Vote Boosts XRP as PermissionDelegationV1_1 Gains Momentum

XRP has seen a significant price increase of over 17% in the past 24 hours, reaching an intraday high of $1.43. The token's rise coincided with Ripple's vote to support the PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment, which would allow limited account authority on the XRP Ledger.

The amendment needs to retain support from more than 80% of trusted validators for two continuous weeks to become active. Currently, seven out of 35 validators have supported the proposal, but Ripple's vote adds significant weight to its chances.

The proposed feature would enable an XRP Ledger account to authorize another account to carry out specific transaction types without transferring full signing authority or control.
