Ripple's Vote Sparks XRP Price Surge as XRPL Upgrade Nears
XRP price surged more than 17% to $1.43 after Ripple supported the PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment, a key part of XRP Ledger version 3.3.0.
The vote advanced the feature, although it still needs broad validator approval before activation.
Seven out of 35 validators in the Unique Node List have voted in favor of the amendment, with Ripple contributing its support but having no control over the outcome.
The PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment introduces an authorization delegation mechanism to enhance the flexibility and usability of XRPL accounts, allowing delegated accounts to manage only permitted tasks.
