Ripple's XRP Ledger Gains Traction with Aviva Investors Partnership
Ripple has partnered with Aviva Investors to tokenize its US dollar liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger. The move is significant, as it shows growing interest in using the XRP Ledger for real-world assets and traditional finance.
The partnership will explore more tokenization opportunities through 2026. Tokenization simply records ownership digitally, making transactions faster and more efficient.
Yuval Rooz, CEO of Digital Asset, warned that crypto networks will eventually be judged by the utility and revenue they create. He noted that many networks have valuations disconnected from actual economic activity.
Banks are already using public blockchain infrastructure, with around 50 vendors preparing applications for Canton ahead of its planned production launch in October.
Rooz also criticized changing industry narratives, stating that maintaining a consistent product strategy helped his company nearly triple its valuation over 24 months while the broader market declined by 40%.
