RippleX Seeks Validator Approval for Rewritten Amendments
RippleX is pushing to activate rewritten Batch and Permission Delegation amendments in the XRP Ledger's core server software, xrpld 3.3.0, as soon as next week.
The original amendments were blocked by validators before mainnet activation due to authorization flaws that could have allowed hackers to drain victim accounts through transaction fees alone.
Researchers found the problem while the amendment was still in voting and no funds were put at risk.
RippleX product head Jazzi Cooper listed five proposed XRP Ledger features for 3.3.0, which include Confidential MPT, Batch, Permission Delegation, Sponsored Fees and Reserves, and Dynamic MPT.
