Riverhood Rolls Out UK Crypto Trading with Over 50 Digital Assets

Share

Riverhood has launched cryptocurrency trading in the UK for eligible customers, offering access to more than 50 digital assets through its main investing app. The service is provided by Bitstamp, a FCA-registered platform that Robinhood acquired last year for $200 million.

The launch marks another step towards Riverhood's goal of becoming an all-in-one investment platform in the UK. Jordan Sinclair, president of Riverhood UK Ltd and general manager of Bitstamp UK Ltd, said: 'With today's launch, we're taking another major step toward becoming the all-in-one investment platform for the UK.'

Riverhood has warned that cryptocurrencies held through Bitstamp are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service. The company has also introduced Cortex Digests for Crypto, an AI-powered tool that provides explanations for price movements in individual cryptocurrencies.
