River's BTC Price Prediction Sees Market Cap Soar to $17.5T
River's latest model has made a bold prediction for Bitcoin's future price, forecasting a possible range of $250,000 to $840,000 over the next few years. According to River, if historical trends persist and prior inflow-to-value ratios continue, the market capitalization of Bitcoin could expand to between $5.5 trillion and $17.5 trillion.
The prediction is based on an analysis of past cycles, which show that for every dollar in inflows, the value of Bitcoin has increased by a multiplier of $4.50 in 2015-2017, $3.30 in 2018-2021, and $3.10 in 2022-2025.
However, technical analysis on the four-hour chart indicates that the current price of $77,614.25 is within the Bollinger band, with support levels at $75,516.67 (EMA50) and $72,029.19 (EMA200). The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains neutral, but the MACD death cross signals near-term pressure.
River's model suggests that Bitcoin may retest its lower Bollinger band price of $76,604.27 before any sustained push towards upper resistance at $79,123.56.
