RLUSD Surge Puts Ripple's XRP Ledger on Liquidity Edge
Ripple's XRP ledger is gaining an edge in liquidity, thanks to RLUSD's surge. The stablecoin's supply has grown by over 30% in just one month, outpacing other top stablecoins like USDT.
This increase in liquidity is significant, especially as the market becomes more risk-on and high-cap assets begin to break resistance.
DeFiLlama's data shows that RLUSD represents over 90% of all stablecoins on the XRP Ledger, with a total supply exceeding $950 million. In contrast, its share on Ethereum is just 0.7%, highlighting XRPL's growing strength in this area.
The impact of this divergence can be seen in price action, too: the XRP/ETH ratio has closed last week up over 17%, marking its best weekly performance since Q1 2025 began.
