$RLUSD Surpasses XRP as Preferred Choice for AI-Powered Payments on Ripple Ledger

A new trend is emerging in the Ripple ecosystem, where AI-run wallets are increasingly using the $RLUSD stablecoin over XRP for payments.

Data from the XRPL AI Hub shows that between August 20 and 27, AI scripts processed more than 554,000 transactions while spending only 209 XRP, compared to 602 RLUSD. At XRP's price of around $1.40 at the time, this comes close to $293 in XRP compared to $602 in RLUSD.

This suggests that for AI-driven micropayments, price stability matters more than volatility.
