Robinhood and Crypto.com Clash in Prediction Markets Showdown
Robinhood and Crypto.com are vying for dominance in the prediction markets space. This corner of finance involves trading contracts tied to real-world outcomes like elections, sports, and economic indicators.
Racing to own this space, both platforms have made significant moves. Robinhood launched its Prediction Markets Hub in 2025 through a partnership with Kalshi, one of the few CFTC-regulated event contract exchanges in the country.
In its launch year, around 11 to 12 billion contracts were traded through the hub, pushing prediction market revenue into genuine competition with Robinhood's crypto trading segment in certain quarters.
Crypto.com launched its own CFTC-regulated prediction markets platform, called OG, in February 2026. This positioning makes it a direct competitor alongside Robinhood and existing regulated players.
