Robinhood Bets Big on Crypto.com Prediction Market Partnership
Retail investing platform Robinhood has entered into a multi-year agreement to take equity stakes in Crypto.com and its prediction markets platform, OG.com. The partnership will allow Robinhood to route retail event contracts through OG.com's CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange and clearinghouse.
The deal marks a significant expansion of Robinhood's prediction market infrastructure, which it launched in March 2025 with CFTC-regulated exchange Kalshi. Since then, the business has grown quickly, generating $156 million in revenue from event contracts in the second quarter of 2026.
OG.com recently spun off from Crypto.com at a valuation of $5 billion and will operate independently as part of the partnership. The company plans to expand beyond prediction markets into futures and perpetual contracts, consistent with the idea that regulated event-contract infrastructure can serve as a stepping stone toward more generalized derivatives products.
