Robinhood Blockchain Surpasses 250 Million Transactions
The Robinhood Ecosystem has reached a major milestone, surpassing 250 million transactions on its blockchain. This achievement was made in record time, faster than any other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based network. The chain also hit $4 million in total revenue.
The mainnet launch of the blockchain occurred just weeks ago, and it has since seen a surge in ecosystem activity. This includes investments from the platform's Ventures Fund I, which put $30 million into Whatnot's $545 million Series G round. This is one of the fund's largest single bets so far.
The chain itself was built to handle real-world assets and support AI-native trading tools. It uses ETH for gas and targets block times of around 100 milliseconds. The EVM-compatible Layer-2 runs on Arbitrum, providing a scalable solution for high transaction volumes.
