Rainmaking in the UK's crypto market just got more intense as Robinhood integrates cryptocurrency trading into its app, courtesy of Bitstamp. The move is powered by infrastructure obtained when Robinhood bought Bitstamp for $200 million last year.

The integration brings together stocks, ISAs, options, futures, and digital assets on one platform, making Robinhood's UK platform a comprehensive financial hub. This expansion was made possible after Robinhood secured registration with the Financial Conduct Authority as a cryptoasset firm in July 2026.

This strategic move positions Robinhood to dominate the market before new regulatory rules take effect in 2027. The UK is building out its crypto regulatory framework, and by getting ahead of the curve, Robinhood solidifies its place among established players.
