Robinhood Chain Crushes Ethereum in Revenue, Memecoins Steal the Show
Robinhood Chain, a new Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain, generated $2.66 million in revenue on August 30, 2026, surpassing Ethereum's app revenue for the same day. This figure puts it on an annualized pace of around $800 million just two months after its public launch.
The chain was built on Arbitrum technology with a focus on tokenized equities and real-world assets, but actual usage tells a different story. Memecoin-focused tools dominate the revenue leaderboard, with GMGN, Pons, and Uniswap being the top three revenue-generating applications.
While the $2.66 million figure represents application-level revenue, the chain-level revenue is estimated at around $963K before costs and revenue-sharing obligations. The network allocates 10% of net protocol revenue back to the Arbitrum ecosystem through the Arbitrum Expansion Program.
