Robinhood Chain DEXs Soar to Record $989M Daily Volume
Robinhood Chain's decentralized exchanges (DEXs) have seen a significant surge in trading activity, reaching an all-time high of $989 million in daily volume. This milestone comes on the heels of a 100% increase in DeFi total value locked (TVL), which now stands at $708 million.
The rise in demand is not limited to memecoins, with projects focused on practical services such as token issuance and liquidity gaining traction. The market capitalization of PONS, a token issuance platform, has expanded from $20 million to over $200 million during August.
Stablecoin supply on the network has also increased by 47% over the same period, reaching about $770 million. This growth in trading volume and locked assets suggests that users are increasingly looking for practical applications of blockchain technology.
