Robinhood Chain Fees Hit Record $3.75M as Arbitrum Cashes In
Robinhood Chain, launched in July, has broken its own record for transaction fees. On September 1, users paid $3.75 million, a new high since launch. This achievement pushed Robinhood Chain ahead of Ethereum mainnet and Base for the day.
This record fee is significant because it benefits Arbitrum, the stack on which Robinhood Chain runs. A 10% cut of the revenue goes back to the Arbitrum ecosystem. In July, licensing fees from Robinhood Chain tallied $360,000, accounting for 35% of Arbitrum DAO's income.
Arbitrum's Expansion Program is a franchise-like model where teams launch their own chains on Arbitrum's technology and pay licensing fees in return for security and interoperability. The program has been successful, with gross margins on protocol revenue above 97%, up from over 90% in 2025.
Robinhood Chain also saw high decentralized exchange volume, topping $1.5 billion on September 1, a record. Total value locked was just over $750 million. The chain's EVM compatibility and day-one partners have made it an attractive platform for developers.
