Robinhood Chain Fees Soar to Record High
Robinhood Chain, a project from the popular trading app Robinhood, has seen its fees reach an all-time high on September 1. According to DeFiLlama, the chain generated $3.75 million in daily fees, marking four consecutive days at this record-breaking level.
This surge in fees has had a positive impact on HOOD stock, which has recovered after a recent dip. The connection between Robinhood Chain's success and the stock's performance is clear: 10% of the chain's fees go to the Arbitrum Foundation, while 80% are sent to the Arbitrum DAO and the remaining 20% fund developer projects.
As a result, the Arbitrum ecosystem has seen a significant boost in revenue through this route, generating around $370,000 per day. In comparison, Arbitrum itself only earned less than $15,000 on the same day.
