Robinhood Chain Goes Live, Enabling Onchain Trading for Tokenized Assets
Roninhood Chain is now live on mainnet as of July 1, 2026. This Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 blockchain was designed to provide infrastructure for tokenized financial assets and crypto swaps.
The permissionless network supports onchain trading, including tokenized products representing real-world assets rather than traditional brokerage holdings.
To access the chain, users need to set up a compatible self-custody wallet, such as Robinhood Wallet. Funding the wallet with enough ETH for gas fees is also necessary, as ETH remains the gas asset behind transaction flow.
Meme coins can be traded through ecosystem apps like Pons and Uniswap, but permissionless trading comes with risks such as fake tokens, thin pools, honeypots, approval risks, and violent price moves. It's essential to understand the product before buying it and use money that can be afford to lose.
