Robinhood Chain Meme Coins Dominate Trading Volume with Wild Price Swings
Robinhood Chain's launch as a home for tokenized stocks was meant to bring real-world assets onto the network, but instead, meme coins have taken over with massive trading volume.
The platform has seen billions in cumulative trading volume since its inception, and most of that activity comes from memecoins rather than tokenized stocks. One notable example is Cash Dog in Hood (CASHDOG), which trades at $0.04213 with a market cap of $42.13 million and daily volume near $284.19 million.
Cash Cat (CASHCAT) stands out for its 40.9% weekly gain, making it the strongest move among established Robinhood Chain names. Its origin ties directly to Robinhood's own history, with founder Vlad Tenev once revealing on X that Robinhood was almost launched under the name 'Cash Cat' back in 2013.
Little John (JOHN) and TENDIESTENDIES also make the list, with high trading volume relative to their market caps. However, these tokens have already swung from all-time highs to all-time lows within days of launch, a sign of how thin and fast-moving this market still is.
