Robinhood Chain Quoting Tokens Directly in Tokenized Stocks
Robinhood Chain has started quoting new tokens directly in tokenized stocks rather than stablecoins. This shift occurred after its public mainnet launch on July 1.
The platform's Launchpad mechanics have driven adoption, allowing instant token deployment and pool creation. Since mid-July, platforms like Long.xyz, Bankr, and PAIR have paired fresh tokens with baskets of up to five Robinhood stock tokens. The data from RWA_xyz shows that 189 such tokens worth $103.2M are now ranked sixth in the $2.77B tokenized stock market, which has risen by 11.9% over the past 30 days.
However, a liquidity stress appeared on August 31 when onchain HIMS printed $61.15 against the NYSE close of $28.84 after a memecoin pool absorbed most of the float. The new supply only mints when equity markets are open, exposing quote-asset risk. As a result, builders now treat the 189 stock tokens as core liquidity instruments across Robinhood Chain's tokenized stock tokens DeFi mechanics.
