Robinhood Chain Sees $365M Revenue Potential by 2027
Robinhood Markets' blockchain bet is gaining traction as analysts see significant revenue potential for its Ethereum Layer 2 solution, Robinhood Chain. Devin Ryan, a Citizens analyst, has raised his price target on HOOD to $165 from $155 and projects that Robinhood Chain will generate approximately $365 million in net revenue by 2027.
This works out to roughly $1 million per day in net revenue, making it a noteworthy development for Wall Street. The chain processes transactions off Ethereum's main network while inheriting its security guarantees, using ETH for gas fees and designed primarily around tokenized real-world assets.
Memecoins and decentralized exchange trading volume have driven early growth for Robinhood Chain, with daily fees occasionally surpassing $4 million. By early September 2026, the chain had crossed $400 million in total value locked, with an annualized DEX volume of $200 billion.
Ryan's projection assumes that Robinhood will cross an 85% revenue-sharing threshold with Arbitrum, which would translate to about $1.2 million in underlying daily sequencer revenue before the 10% cut taken by Arbitrum.
