Robinhood Chain Sees Explosive Growth in Tokenized Stocks and Real-World Assets
The total value locked on Robinhood Chain has more than doubled to $312 million in just 11 days, driven by a sharp increase in daily DEX volume to $623 million. This surge is largely due to tokenized stocks like SpaceX and GameStop, which have seen significant trading activity. On the Robinhood Chain, the market cap of real-world assets (RWAs) has jumped nearly fivefold to about $70 million in active market cap in under two weeks.
Tokenized SpaceX currently sits as the second-largest equity by market cap behind NVIDIA, with a price per token of $111.85 and a market cap of $1.81 million. Meanwhile, GameStop leads daily trading volumes at $26.6 million on the Arbitrum-based Layer 2. This is a significant increase from just two weeks ago, when RWAs made up only around 4% of the network.
DeFi utilization across top equities ranges from 51% to 63%, with SpaceX at 77%. However, GameStop's lower DeFi utilization of 59.83% suggests that its flow is dominated by speculative round-tripping rather than assets being parked in lending vaults or LP positions.
