Robinhood Chain Sees Stablecoin Shift as USDe Surges to 43% Dominance
Robinhood Chain's stablecoin market has undergone a significant shift in recent weeks. Ethena's synthetic dollar USDe has risen to become the dominant stablecoin on the network, accounting for nearly 43% of its total stablecoin supply.
This represents a substantial increase from roughly $17 million just a month ago, with current reserves totaling approximately $253 million.
The surge in USDe has displaced USDG, the stablecoin issued by Paxos in partnership with Robinhood, from the top position.
According to The Block, transaction activity on the network reached a record high last week, averaging 11.6 million daily transactions - a 30% increase over the prior week's average.
