Robinhood Chain Sees Tokenized Stocks Gain Traction Amid Memecoin Dominance
Rapid growth in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) on Robinhood Chain has brought its market value to roughly $70 million, a five-fold increase from shortly after launch. This surge in adoption marks a significant milestone for the blockchain's core vision of tokenizing financial markets.
The network's early spotlight was on memecoins such as CASHCAT and Hoodrat, which dominated trading activity due to their high volume and volatility. However, tokenized equities are now attracting larger trading volumes, with GameStop leading the market at approximately $26.6 million in daily trading volume.
Nvidia follows closely with about $14 million in daily trading volume, while SpaceX generates roughly $6.4 million. Overall, 12 tokenized stocks record more than $500,000 in daily trading, including five that exceed $1 million.
