Robinhood Chain Sets Daily Fee Record, Boosts Arbitrum Revenue
Robinhood Chain's mainnet has seen unprecedented success since its launch on July 1. The network generated $3.75 million in daily fees, setting a new record and marking its fourth consecutive day of record-breaking revenue. This achievement makes it the third-highest earner for the day, behind Uniswap (UNI) and Pons.
The significant revenue is partly due to the allocation of 10% of Robinhood Chain's fees to the Arbitrum ecosystem under the Arbitrum Expansion Program. Of this amount, 8% goes to the Arbitrum DAO treasury and 2% to a developer fund. This arrangement delivered around $370,000 in revenue to Arbitrum.
Notably, Arbitrum itself generated only $7,000 in daily fees during the same period, totaling $377,000. The Robinhood Chain's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume peaked at approximately $1.6 billion on Tuesday before dropping to $1.3 billion on Wednesday. Stablecoin volume has been increasing, rising around 11% in the past week and reaching $832 million.
The Robinhood Chain supports a range of financial applications, including tokenized stocks and other real-world assets (RWA), with an RWA market cap of $184 million. The network also facilitates decentralized finance (DeFi) applications such as trading and lending protocols.
