The Robinhood Chain has seen a record-breaking day in decentralized exchange (DEX) trading volume, with $989 million traded on August 29. This figure is a significant milestone for the network and marks one of its strongest months yet since its stock-linked trading model launched.

Total value locked (TVL) on the network reached about $708 million in August, nearly double the prior month's figure. Stablecoin supply on the chain climbed to roughly $770 million, up 47% month over month.

The growth in liquidity is attributed to fast-rising capital moving onto the network. One of the unusual patterns observed is the rise of tokenized stocks being traded against meme coins. The LONG launchpad, one of the chain's largest, powers meme tokens paired against tokenized equities rather than standard crypto pairs.

For example, the AI memecoin NVDA pair, built around a token called 'Artificial Inu,' trades against tokenized NVDA shares. Its market cap grew from about $1.5 million on August 1 to a peak of $135 million on August 30.
