Robinhood Chain Smashes Trading Volume Record with $874.8M in One Day
The Robinhood Chain has set a new record for trading volume on its busiest day yet, August 30th. On this day, the Layer 2 network handled $874.8 million in decentralized exchange volume, surpassing all previous records since its public mainnet launch on July 1st.
Uniswap version 4 was responsible for handling $432 million of this total, while Uniswap version 3 added $357 million, covering almost 90% of the network's trading activity. This impressive performance comes as retail speculation continues to drive the market, with tokenized stocks and real-world assets drawing significant interest.
In terms of app revenue, Robinhood Chain outperformed Ethereum, Hyperliquid, and Base, generating $2.66 million over 24 hours. This is a notable achievement for a network that has only been operational for two months. Solana was the only other network to earn more revenue during this period.
GMGN led the chain's own protocols with $1.11 million in revenue, followed closely by Pons at $930,587 and Uniswap at $306,877. The PONS token also reached a record price of $0.39 on August 30th, driven by strong demand from launchpads.
