Robinhood Chain Surges on Memecoins, Not Tokenized Stocks
Rohanhood Chain has emerged as one of the fastest-growing blockchain networks of 2026, but its success is largely due to memecoin speculation rather than tokenized stocks. The network was designed to support regulated infrastructure for tokenized real-world assets, particularly US equities.
Launched on July 1, Robinhood Chain quickly accumulated $312 million in total value locked, more than 3.6 million daily transactions, and over $600 million in daily decentralized exchange volume.
However, memecoins dominated the network's activity, with CASHCAT reaching a market capitalization of around $156 million, exceeding the combined value of every tokenized asset on the network.
Despite this, signs indicate that Robinhood's original strategy may finally be gaining traction. Tokenized real-world assets have expanded to roughly $70 million, representing a fivefold increase in less than two weeks. Tokenized equity trading volumes have also accelerated significantly.
