Robinhood Chain Surpasses Ethereum in 24-Hour App Revenue
Robinhood Chain's daily app revenue has surpassed Ethereum mainnet and Hyperliquid, according to recent data. The chain recorded $2.66 million in 24-hour app revenue, a significant figure that puts it at the top of the list for that measurement window.
The comparison is specific to this metric and should not be taken as a full ecosystem ranking. App revenue is becoming an important way to understand where crypto users are paying actual fees, as it shows real economic activity rather than just idle liquidity.
One reason Robinhood Chain may be experiencing strong app metrics is its mainstream distribution advantage. The company already has a large retail trading base and experience packaging financial products in a consumer-friendly interface. This allows it to route activity from an existing financial platform into on-chain products, creating intense bursts of revenue around specific products.
The Ethereum comparison is limited, as the mainnet remains the dominant settlement layer for stablecoins, DeFi, tokenized assets, L2s, and institutional crypto infrastructure. However, this shows that user-facing distribution can generate meaningful on-chain economics.
