Robinhood Chain Surpasses Ethereum in Daily Fee Generation
Rapid growth on Robinhood Chain has seen it surpass Solana, Base, and Ethereum in daily chain-fee generation. On August 31, 2026, the network generated $1.07 million in daily gas fees.
This achievement comes just two months after the chain's launch on July 1, 2026. The fee surge was driven by an explosion in decentralized exchange activity, with DEX volumes reaching $1.49 billion on August 30.
Memo coins have been a significant contributor to Robinhood Chain's growth, with platforms like Pons and GMGN turning the chain into a launchpad for speculative tokens. The sheer volume of memecoin launches has generated a cumulative DEX trading volume of over $47 billion within two months of operation.
Royalties from gas fees are also in Robinhood's favor, as they retain approximately 89% of gross fees collected on the network. This means that of the $1.07 million generated on August 31, roughly $950,000 went straight to Robinhood's bottom line.
