Robinhood Chain Surpasses Solana in Tokenized Stock Volume via Memecoin Pairs
Robinhood Chain has surpassed Solana in tokenized stock volume via memecoin pairs, according to data from OKX's Web3 wallet team. The chain averaged $29.7 million in daily DEX volume over the past week, more than Solana's xStocks and Backpack venues combined.
The surge is attributed to launch platforms Bankr and long.xyz, which began letting users issue memecoins backed by tokenized stock liquidity across over 90 tickers in mid-July. The pairs now populate the chain's trending list, with Artificial Inu (AI/NVDA) leading at $2.6 million in daily volume.
The deposited shares stay locked while the pairs trade, generating stock-token volume as a byproduct. Daily active tokenized-stock traders on the chain peaked above 20,000 in the week of July 20, per the Dune data.
While Robinhood Chain has found a retail on-ramp for tokenized equities, it still lags behind Binance's bStocks on BNB Chain, which averaged $676.8 million in daily DEX volume over the same period.
