Robinhood Chain Tokenized Stocks Surge Fivefold in Two Weeks
The Robinhood Chain network has seen a significant surge in tokenized stock activity since its launch just two weeks ago, with real-world assets increasing to approximately $70 million, a fivefold rise from earlier levels. This growth is part of a broader expansion on the network, which now boasts a total value locked (TVL) near $312 million, up from $100 million in mid-July.
The increase in tokenized stock activity has led to higher trading volumes across various equities, with Tokenized GameStop generating around $26.6 million in daily volume, followed by Nvidia at $14 million and SpaceX at $6.4 million. Additionally, 12 tokenized stocks now process more than $500,000 in daily trading volume, while five have exceeded $1 million.
Despite the growth of tokenized equities, speculative assets remain the largest source of activity on the network, with trending tokens such as Hoodrat and Swole Doge ranking above tokenized stocks by trading volume. However, infrastructure developers are taking notice of the increasing demand for tokenized stocks, with Memecoin.Fun announcing a $3.5 million strategic funding round to support the development of a Robinhood Chain launchpad.
